    WebPT EMR | Company Fee Schedule (Choosing CPT Codes for Documentation)

    Overview

    You can customize the billing areas within your documentation within the Company Fee Schedule. You'll find the billing areas on either the Objective/Billing tabs (SOAP 1.0) or Charge Summary (SOAP 2.0). When custumizing the Company Fee Schedule, you'll need to determine which codes you want to make available and name them in a way that makes sense for your company. You can review where the billing information is located for each note type:

    CPT Codes and CCI Edits

    All CPT codes/descriptions and CCI Edits selected in the Company Fee Schedule in the WebPT EMR are available in the Charge Summary section of SOAP 2.0.

     

    Fee Schedules
    • The Clinic Fee Schedule is view-only, any updates you'd like to make must be made only on the Company Fee Schedule page.
    • Fee Schedules in the WebPT EMR do not transfer to your billing software. You'll also need to update your billing software's Fee Schedule.

    Show or Hide Billing Codes

    WebPT EMR | Show or Hide Billing Codes

     

    You can customize which billing codes show in the billing area. Only company administrators can access this feature and any changes affect all users within the company.
     

    1. Click Company Fee Schedule from the dropdown in the upper right of WebPT. You cannot make these changes within the Clinic Fee Schedule.

    2. Use the checkbox next to each code to show or hide the billing code. For example, the clinic doesn't want to see the billing code for Hot/Cold Pack (CPT: 97010). Custom codes can only be added to individual notes. You can only include or exclude the codes already available. Discover how to Add a Custom CPT Code.

    3. Click Save. The billing code for Hot/Cold Pack (97010) no longer shows for ALL clinic users. Allow 10 minutes for these changes to be reflected in Billing or the Charge Summary.

    Renaming Billing Codes

    You can rename the code description to suit your company's needs if you have a name preference for how a billing code displays in the billing area. Remember, the name choosen appears on the finalized daily note. and will be part of the medical record. Only company administrators can access this feature, and any changes affect all users within the company.
     

    1. Click Company Fee Schedule from the dropdown in the upper right of the WebPT EMR. You cannot make these changes within the Clinic Fee Schedule.

    2. Find the code you want to rename and click the Edit icon. For example, the clinic wants to rename the description of CPT code 92521 from “Evaluation of speech fluency” to “Speech Eval”.

    3. Type the new code description in the Type. In this case, we entered Speech Eval. Click Save.

    4. Click Save on the Fee Schedule page to save the change for ALL company users. Changes will be reflected in Billing or Charge Summary within 10 minutes.
